Nicolas Cage, after winning the Best Actor Oscar last year for his portrayal of an alcoholic determined to drink himself to death in Leaving Las Vegas, a hard-bodied Cage looks as if he drinks nothing but protein mega shakes in his skyjack thriller Con Air, due in theaters on June 6th. Cage, 33, who plays an ex-con turned hero in the movie, comments that "Prison life is survival of the fittest. You spend much of the time working out so you can handle dangerous situations". He did a lot of aerobic conditioning, plus he would run six miles a day and lift weights. He cut out all the butter and oil from his diet, used skim milk, ate a lot of canned tuna fish and fat-free pretzels. He calls it the "Con Air" diet.

Cage has made three spectacular movies in a row. He is now said to be asking $10-$15 million to wear the cape in Tim Burton's Superman Lives. Two of Cage's action movies--The Rock and now Con Air--are traditionally macho. John Woo's Face/Off, though, is hilarious and inventive. Cage and John Travolta play a demented terrorist and an FBI agent who surgically exchange faces.

This is a fact -- he looked soooooooooo good in Face Off!!!!! If there is any way way you could tell him for me, please do! My only wish is to be able to work with him in the future. I'm shooting for an acting career.

I think Nicolas Cage was the best in Face/Off and It Could Happen To You. If there is any chance, 1-100,000,000, that you could get him to spend a day with me, I would be sooooo happy. Thanx

Yes, I agree, Nicolas Cage was very good in Face/Off. I didn't particularly like that movie, but then again----I did, because he was in it!

I know that Nicolas won't actually get this himself, but I still just wanted to write to say that he was brilliant in Face Off! He's a great actor and I can't wait to see his next movie. "Keep it up", the great acting I mean.

I would just like everyone to know that I think Nicolas Cage is one of the best looking and best actors in Hollywood. I especially like him in City of Angels. He was really brilliant in that movie. Hey Nicolas keep up the great work and try to stay out of trouble.

Is it true that Nicholas Cage used to date Kristin Zang, also former girlfriend to Leonardo DiCaprio??? Isn't she a bit too young????
