Goldie apparently has an autobiography in the works tentatively titled How To Be Happy. Supposedly, Doubleday offered $2.5 million but was turned down by Goldie's literary agent, Amanda Urban, as was HarperCollins, which bid $1.5 million. Urban approved a seven-figure offer from Broadway Books (sister imprint of Doubleday).

According to Access Hollywood, Goldie is currently directing a cable movie entitled Hope. The actors in the movie have nothing but good things to say about working with Goldie.

Goldie Hawn and Madonna are set to play the merry murderesses in the movie version of the musical, Chicago. John Travolta has hinted that he'd take the role of the dashing, dancing lawyer who tries to spring them from the slammer, though his representatives say he's not involved.
