Actor. Born on October 1, 1950, in Houston, Texas, educated at the University of Houston. Burly actor effective in both affable and menacing character roles. While still in college, he was cast by director Peter Bogdanovich in his Targets and The Last Picture Show, which he portrayed a drab would-be suitor of Cybill Shepherd. He has remained active throughout the next two decades, bringing subtlety to often exaggerated roles. Noted for performance as the young Lyndon Johnson in TV drama "LBJ: The Early Years", Regular, "Saturday Night Live" (1985-1986), "Davis Rules". Brother of Dennis Quaid.
