Returning to the United States fifteen years later, he entered films in the late 80s and promptly emerged as the popular, ponytailed, iron-fisted star of a string of inane but carefully orchestrated and enormously profitable hit-first-ask-later thrillers.

His 1990 movie,Marked for Death was one of the top grossers of that year. A Sixth-Degree Black Belt, Seagal heads his own company, Streamroller Productions. His second wife is model-actress Kelly LeBrock. He is the father of four.
